Team Ninja (Japanese: チームニンジャ) is a Japanese video game developer and a division of Koei Tecmo. It was founded in 1995 as Tecmo Creative #3,[1] a division of Tecmo headed by Tomonobu Itagaki. It is best known for its expertise in action games as well as its signature franchises such as the Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive and Nioh series.
